Police Athletic League of Philadelphia is "Cops Helping Kids".
With 27 centers across Philadelphia serving almost 26,000 kids, PAL
offers a large variety of sports, education, and recreational programs
to all of Philadelphia's youngsters completely free of charge.
As a registered non-profit 501(c)(3) PAL relies on the generosity
of extraordinary citizens and corporations to provide the resources
to keep our youth active, productive and safe. All of our centers
are supervised by Philadelphia Police Officers who are assigned full-time
to direct activities and oversee the young people. With the help of
community volunteers these officers provide youngsters with proper
guidance, life skills, and opportunities that will give them a better
chance at a successful life.
We invite you to continue to learn about our organization by browsing
our website, volunteer at one of our centers or call 215-291-9000
to see how you can personally contribute to the success of all of
our children.
